Thrills with Zills

This workshop will suit Beginners who have a basic repertoire of steps to Intermediate students.
Learn to play Zills (Finger Cymbals) and, Dance with them!!!!

Zills can enhance your performance both musically and visually. The zills are an important part of both Arabic music and dance. Starting with basic rhythm patterns the workshop will also introduce rhythm variations and participants will learn the secrets to dancing and playing at the same time AND in time!
This workshop will be accompanied with live drumming.
Some Zills will be avaialble to use on the day, but please bring your own if you have them.
Students must have a basic repertoire of steps.
Includes light refreshments during the break.
