Use of the content and purchase options of this website is only for the purpose of shopping on this website or placing an order on this website for products and services offered and for no other purpose. All rights not expressly granted herein are reserved. Buying Tips & Measurements

Sizes and Measurements:

Unless otherwise stated, measurements are made on the garment when it is flat. Please leave space for your curves, so your body measurement should be slightly smaller than the flat garment measurement.

Elasticised waist bands are measured at full stretch, so make sure you measure your hips at the widest point.

Second Hand and Pre-loved items

Many Tribal garments and decorative items have come from overseas and are considered either second hand, vintage or antique. Many are unique and many are made from repurposed fabrics, metals and coins. Many are in excellent condition, but this does not mean that they are completely flawless.

Please look at the photos carefully before you buy, and any damage will be revealed so that you can make an informed purchase.

Payments

Once you have made your selection, you will be directed to the PayPal’s secure site where you can complete your purchase.

If you are a member of PayPal, you can use your account, alternatively, PayPal offers an option to use a credit card. You will see the available options on the opening page when you click the link.

Shipping

We use Australia Post to ship your order.

Once posted, we have no control over your parcel and cannot accept responsibility for loss or damage in transit.

We recommend Standard Shipping with Signature, this means that Australia Post requires you to sign for your parcel, rather than leaving it somewhere if you are not at home to receive it.

If you wish to ensure safer delivery, you may request Registered Post at your cost.

Refunds & Returns

We recognise that when buying online, it’s not always possible to be sure that you have chosen the correct item – so if you are not happy with your online purchase, please contact us via our online contact form within 24 hours of receiving your item.
You will need to confirm your name, your contact details and the Order Number for your purchase when you contact us.
We will refund the cost of the item (LESS postage, packaging and PayPal fees), and provided the item is returned undamaged in its original packaging (or the same quality of packaging), unworn and unused. Returns are NOT accepted if the item has been worn for any period of time, except to try it on to check the size. We understand that items may need to be tried on, but we are trusting you to keep the item in exactly the same condition as it arrived to you, if you wish to return it.
Please do not return the item for a refund until you have contacted us and received confirmation that the item is to be returned for refund or exchange.
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If your refund is approved, it will be processed, and a credit will be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 7 business days of approval.

Exchanges

The majority of items available for purchase from Dance Of Life are one-offs or have limited variable options. Therefore, for the majority of items, there will be no exchange available for the same item in a variable. (different colour or size)

You may contact us for an opportunity to exchange the item for another available item at the same or a similar cost. You would need to contact us and discuss this option.

Please note, in the case of an exchange, you will pay for the return postage, back to us, of the unwanted item, in accordance with our Refunds & Returns policy (see 3. above) and for the postage of the new item. If there is any difference in the purchase price of the two items, this will be calculated into the final cost.

Shipping Returns

To return your product, you should mail your product to: {physical address}.

You are responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We cannot guarantee that your returned item won’t be lost in transit or received undamaged.

Gift Cards

Dance Of Life gift cards can only be used for purchases in our boutique or online.
Gift Cards cannot be returned or exchanged for cash.

If making a purchase at our studio boutique, no change will be given, any balance that remains on the card can be used in whole or part against future purchases at Dance Of Life.

Dance of Life Gift Cards are valid for 1 (one) year from the purchase date, as indicated on the card. Gift Cards will not be available for use after the expiry date.

Gift Cards are treated as cash and cannot be replaced if lost or stolen.
